6 months!

So today is August 1st! Time to share what I've been reading the last 6 months. Lots of 4 stars, but only a FEW 5 stars! I like to keep track of things like this...books are like part of my life, and when I go back and see what I was reading, I remember what I was going through at that time....what I thought of the book, and how it influenced or shaped me...or if it didn't. all of my reviews are on Goodreads, so if you're not my Goodreads friend yet, what are you waiting for! (link is on my blog and on my facebook)

Holy cow you read a lot of books. My only suggestion is that you screen more completely. You had a lot of 2 and 3's in there. I never read a book unless I love it. Sounds like something from Ratatouie but it's true. So- generally im either happy with or in love with the last book I read. Maybe it's just because im so clearly a one genre girl...

Nancy, I've been thinking about what you said. And it just hit me now, that I take SOMETHING from each of those books that I read, even if I didn't find them utterly amazing. I would never say a textbook was amazing, but sometimes it carries essential knowledge for life. I also find that I HAVE to read something every day, whether it be a newspaper or book, I just HAVE to read to call it a normal day. Therefore, I never have a book too far from my nightstand, in fact I think I have 10 on my nightstand right now, including one textbook, lol.
