Day Three: Boston

Day three was RAINY, and when I mean rainy, it didn’t just rain 20 minutes and then go away. It rained from morning to night CONSTANTLY. So, I chose to take a day trip in to Boston, stopping by Providence, Rhode Island on the way. Again, since it was raining, I didn’t choose to get out of my car and get soaked, so here’s a few pictures I got from the car.
Providence:
 Rainy Bridge:

 More rain:
This is my favorite picture taken in Little Italy!

What to do when it rains? Go to the temple…. So for my first time in over a year, I go into the Boston Temple. I get to go through the session ALONE, meaning I was the ONLY person there. It was kind of nice, it reminded me that each of our journeys on this earth are individual.

I then went to the Boston Museum of Art. Wednesday nights are FREE! How convenient! Here’s some stuff from their modern exhibit:

And my favorite piece made from recycled bottle caps and labels in Nigeria:

 Another cool one:

Ah, look at the headless woman. I feel like like her sometimes.

And these two are beautiful by Rodin.

And the Self portraits for the day: I’m too shy to ask someone to take my picture sometimes.

nice...I was going to tell you : you and Teanu are twins for sure. Like you, he can pack for a week worth of clothes in a backpack, organize a day trip in less than an hour, and then make it happen without getting lost...That abilility always amazes me.
