Halloween

Trunk or Treat at the Church:

Before trick or treating fun at Nancy's house: That's a pudding graveyard with cookie tombs and pretzel sticks, edible fun!

I had Stitch, so I had to get Vivian to dress up as Lilo:

Keilani was Bob Marley:

Vivian came up with a gypsy costume on her own, very stylish:

Ken when he come home from a Halloween Father/Daughter activity with the girls, look what they did to him:(those are trash bags he's wearing)

Even scarier, look what they did to Natasha:

My favorite costume of the year, Stitch, for my little destroyer:

Kalel as a race car driver:

Trick or treating with the cousins:

And the best part, the candy stash:

Vivian Part Two!

I forgot, Vivian got 2 bday celebrations, one with her friends and the other with the family.
Nancy made this ghost cake:

Silly Vivian faces:

The whole gang:

And side note, she shares her birthday with this dog: Zaire. I still remember going into labor that night and saying, "NO! Not on the same day as the dog has her puppies!"

Vivian turns 10!

For Vivian's birthday we were insane and let her invite all the friends
she wanted to, so ended up with 16 10 year olds at our house...LOUD 10 yr old girls. It was a Halloween Costume party as usual, we had apple bobbing, donuts on a string, gummy worms in cool whip (eat them without using your hands), made witch cupcakes, and that's all I can remember, or can remember, lol.

General Conference

Every spring and fall our church has what we call General Conference. It's where instead of going to church for 3 hrs on Sunday we get to watch from the comfort of our own homes, our church leaders speak to us, broadcast on local tv, if you're in Utah. But that's for 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday.

Some people opt out of watching on Saturday, thinking they'll just play catch up and watch it later or read the talks online instead. Our family WATCHES all 4 sessions live.

But then our house ends up like this:

Keilani basically sat and tried to read Mockingjay the whole time:

The girls set up a tent in our family room:

The boys made messes with any food they could find, like these marshmallows in a toy:

and here are the culprits:

So Happy Sabbath! Normally we try to make it up to the mountains to take pretty pictures of the foliage. Don't ask why we didn't this time, it sure would have made prettier pictures than these. But I wanted to record a snapshot of our real lives.
