Yard Sale Finds-Warning, picture overload!

Okay, so last Saturday was my first big YARD SALE SHOPPING DAY of the year! Ironically, when I moved down to Orem, I was so excited about getting to go to yard sales again! But last Saturday, all the good ones were back up in Lehi again, so to Lehi I went.

I HEART yard sales! (yes, this bag full of charms was a quarter, I gave it to Natasha)

Toys for the boys, $2.00 or less, I love the magnet book and yarn things for church!

Vacuum-okay, so this may not have been worth the $5.00, it's loud, and makes a funny smell when used, and they said it worked fine, tsk...tsk....

And I don't know what I was thinking with this purse, it matched the all white I was wearing when I was shopping, lol!

But these were worth the buck or two they cost me!

Lamps we needed for our house:

Love the color red! And yes, it was a dollar!

Easily, the most exciting thing was finding these garbage bins for 50 cents each, we needed more for our house, and they're $5.00 each at the store!

All these picture frames for $1.00, that's $1.00 total, not $1.00 each!

Boys clothes, 20 cents each!

even these Hannah Anderson pj's, easily the boys favorite deals of the day!

and clothes for the girls too, 20 cents each again, cute Children's Place stuff!

Vivian, modeling her favorite outfit of the day!

Okay, onto my next weakness: Scrapbooking stuff! Even though I say I don't really scrapbook anymore, and want to go digital, I can't stop buying stuff at yard sales, because I know the original cost of things, and what a deal I'm getting, lol!

This was a kit with 20 page kits to display through the year, for $15.00, that's less than $1.00 each!

And look at the stuff, way cute, I can do some fun things with them!

Okay, so this next set of stuff I bought for $40 total, sounds like a lot, but I got TONS of Bazzill paper and embellishments from the owner of a company that was going out of business, check it out!

And I LOVE these little magnetic tins, going to put pictures in them!

And the mother lode of paper, you can never have too much paper, right?

And these Hawaiian papers were $2.00. I happen to know that this manufacturer went out of business, so these are no longer available, and when they were purchased, they were only available online, so I had to grab some more (Yes, I already have some at home, lol)

Bedside lamp, $5.00, it will do for now!

Worth $1.00 for sure!

Fun carry on bag for $1.00

And this, my ladies, will be my luggage of choice when traveling, all ready for that cruise I need to take. Oh wait, I need to finish my passport application first, better hurry! Think it was worth $10? I do, looking at it just makes me happy!

Anyways, thanks for letting me indulge a little bit, Total cost $107.00 (oops!) But the fun I had shopping: Priceless!

Already have my list for this weekend, I'll try to spend less this time.... :) No, I HAVE to spend less this time....That Scrapbook stuff was a splurge! Only happens a few times each year!

I climbed up the stairs and what did I see?

You'd never guess this one:

Trying to hide....Zane, not going to work!!!!

You have to admit, he was rather clean about it! There's only 1 tiny little shell in that bowl, and the tiniest little spill on the floor. My girls make bigger messes when they crack eggs!

As I went to clean it up, he even grabbed a whisk and started mixing it, smart boy, I'd have to say! So, we went ahead and cooked him up some eggs. Should have taken a picture of him eating them!

Future chef, perhaps?
