Coupon shopping, is it worth it?

Today, my facebook status is, "Do you know what I'm tired of....COUPONS! They're such a pain to use, someone convince me again this is worth it"

So, this is an appropriate post to post today. I started this about a month ago. This was one of my LOVE coupon shopping days. I think I spent $20 and that was mostly that milk, chips and bread over there that added to the total. The salad dressing was all free, so was the salad, I paid less than a dollar each for those PB's and spaghetti sauces.

Insanely cheap pasta sauce:

Freebies:

PB was insanely cheap:

Salad, WAS FREE by purchasing the practicaly free Bertolli's, lol!

These were all free with my coupons:

These were all WAY cheap:

So, is it worth all the clipping of coupons that take hours of my time?
Well, when you consider the savings on days like this, I'd say I make a good amount of $$ clipping those coupons. OK, I'll keep doing it, lol!

Wow! That is a great deal on those pasta sauces. I like that kind too. Where do you find information on doing it? Is there a program you follow?

Was the $16 a month on coupons taken into account in the bottom line?

I do get excited when people say they paid little for their groceries, I just rarely ever see coupons on food I eat. Until more coupons for fresh produce and items I actually already buy come out, couponing on a large scale is not for me. (Or maybe when I change the way I eat!)

Glad you came to a decision though!

BTW, I was gonna suggest maybe you could sell the coupons you DON'T want on eBay. That's where I've gotten coupons on paper goods.

Holy crap! This makes me want to clip coupons. Where in the world do you find your coupons? I seriously do not know how to coupon shop.
